Reminder: for all students who will be 7th, 9th and 11th graders planning to participate in athletics or marching band next year. Tomorrow morning are school physicals. The cost is $30. A doctor will be on campus to get it taken care of for you so you won't be without and can't participate. Each of you have been given the necessary papers that need to be filled out and signed by a parent. These papers (physical form and a COVID shot form) need to be with you along with your cash in order to get a physical. Take advantage of someone coming to you.
REMINDER: Please come out and join us this evening as we recognize all of our graduating seniors at our IHS Senior Awards Ceremony. We will begin at 6 pm in the Itasca Special Events Center. Senior students, please arrive by 5:45 pm and take your seat on the stage.
Congratulations to Dakota Manaseri! Today she competed at the Area VIII Convention in Prepared Public Speaking and placed in the Top 5! This was her first year to compete and she was in the Ag Policy Category. We are so proud of her!

Reminder: The sports banquet is a week from today on the 17th. If you plan to attend and eat with the athletes the cost is $15 per plate. There will be a BBQ catered meal served at 6 pm which includes brisket, links, mac and cheese and green beans. We need a final head count by tonight.

Our kids joined the walk-on tournament last weekend and competed against other high school teams. They also got to network with College Esports players and College Esports Directors, watched the College Esports grand final and enjoyed a variety of activities.

Elementary Award Day Schedule
Thursday, May 11th- Sophomores and Juniors will be taking their Spring Individuals and Class pictures starting at 9. They were unable to take their pictures due to our early release for bad weather. If you need to order pictures, please use the code EVTFTX29X. If any student (prek-11th) missed both fall and spring picture days, I may call them down to be pictured this day for the yearbook! Thank you all for your continued support! Don't forget to order your yearbook online or bring your $40 cash/check to the school! Deadline to order is May 15th! Yearbooks will have a summer arrival. More details to come on pickup dates/times!
Next Tuesday evening (5/16/23) IHS will be hosting our Senior Awards night. Come out and celebrate your senior(s) starting at 6:00 pm in the SEC. We look forward to celebrating all of their accomplishments with you.
