Tonight’s Wampus Cat baseball game at Venus has been postponed until Saturday due to weather conditions. More information to is to come.
As of right now, tomorrow’s WC baseball home game will still be played at 4:30 vs Milford.
And
Lady Cat Softball will still play Riesel in game 2 of the Bi-District series at home at 7:00pm, tomorrow.
Nine of our students are participating in this week's UIL Academic Regional tournament. They'll be departing for the regional competition Today, April 24.🎉📣

Seniors will have their final fundraiser for the year starting next week on (Wednesday) 4/30 through (Friday) 5/2 in the cafeteria during elementary, middle school, and high school lunches. The seniors will be selling cookies, popcorn, lemonade, brownies, and candy bars for $1-$2! Students & faculty stop by and grab a treat! Help the Class of 2025 raise money for senior week! Congratulations to all our students who participated and competed in the Chisholm Trail District Convention yesterday. 📣📣
All 6 students competed in Prepared Public Speaking. In one of the most competitive speaking districts in Area 8 they all placed in the Top 5. 🏆
Parker placed 2nd in one of his categories which secured him a spot at the Area 8 Contest next month.
As a whole team, Itasca was awarded 3rd in Prepared Public Speaking. This is a great achievement when we are going up against schools more than twice our size! 🏆
On top of that, Parker also ran for a Chisholm Trail District Officer Position. Out of 20 students who took part in the election, he made it to the Top 10 which secured him a role on the team. Once he made the team he found out he was in the Top 4. This Top 4 was then able to give a run off speech for the election of the Officer Team President. After that vote, Parker received the Secretary position. He will now represent the Itasca FFA Chapter on the Chisholm Trail District Officer Team for 2025-2026. 🎉🎉
