The Itasca FFA 3rd Annual Banquet is only 2 weeks away. On May 19th at 6 pm in the SEC we hope to see all FFA members and their families to celebrate and recognize all of this year's accomplishments. We need you to all RSVP by Monday, May 8th so that we can plan our meal. If you do not RSVP by this date then you will not be able to participate in the meal. Dakota has so graciously volunteered ground beef from her steer to support a taco dinner if everyone can sign up to bring ingredients and sides to support that! Itasca High School will be testing Algebra 1 EOC tomorrow, May 3rd. Please make sure that all student Chromebooks are brought to school fully charged.

Itasca ISD buses are being loaded and will be leaving to drop off children at 3:30 pm.

Due to weather Itasca will not be hosting the softball playoffs this evening. However, the regional track meet in Springtown is under way and continuing as planned.

To further clarify the early release this afternoon. Bus rider's parents are welcome to pick their children up at the 2 pm release if that is preferred versus waiting for the delayed buses. Buses are being delayed until after the storm to ensure our children and buses are not out in the worst part of the storm. Also, we do not want any children being dropped off by a bus early when no parents are home to receive them.

Due to the timing of the severe weather this evening, Itasca ISD will dismiss all students at 2 pm. Buses will run after the storm clears due to many parents not being home to accept their children after they get off the bus at 2 pm.

REMINDER: Tomorrow 4/28/23 is Spring Picture Day! We will be taking Spring Individuals and Class Photos for PK-11th Grade! No senior (12th grade) pictures tomorrow! Order Your Yearbook! Evelyn Virrueta competed at the Regional Academic meet in Grayson College Friday, April 21 and placed 4th in News Writing. She will be representing Itasca at the State Academic meet on April 17th in Austin.

BASEBALL SCHEDULE CHANGE: Due to the Regional Track Meet on Friday, we will play a double header against Frost on Tuesday (4/24) in Frost starting at 4:30 pm.
