The Annual Itasca FFA Interest Meeting will take place next Tuesday, August 22nd at 5pm in the cafeteria. This meeting is for any student interested or planning to participate in the FFA this year. We will have sign ups as well as important information and dates for the year. This is mandatory for any student wanting to exhibit a show project/animal.

Parents of Middle School students, please know that at at 7:40 am, the parking lot entrance, by the SEC will be coned off for band practice. MS parents who arrive after 7:40 am to drop off their students must drop them off, either in front of the HS or the MS drop off. We ask that parents not pull into the band practice area if cones have been put in place. Thank you.
We look forward to having a smooth and safe 1st day. Go Cats!

The Itasca Independent School District announced today it will operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2023-2024 school year.
Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
For additional information please contact the following person:

Attention Parents!! If your child has Diabetes, Seizures or Allergies requiring use of an EpiPen, I will need a new Action plan signed by the physician for the 2023-2024 school year. In order for a student to carry an inhaler on them, I will need an Asthma action plan for the 2023-2024 school year. If the student needs to carry the inhaler themselves, I will need an authorization for student to carry on self form signed by the physician.
If your student takes routine medications that need to be administered during school hours, I will need a new Medication authorization form for the 2023-2024 school year signed by the physician prior to me being able to administer the medication(s).
Lastly, I will not be able to administer any over the counter medications unless the medication is brought from home and I have a signed OTC form signed by parent/guardian. If your student has frequent headaches and you'd like to keep some in my office, feel free to bring an unopened bottle of pain reliever to the office or Back to school fair and I can provide you with the required permission form.
Feel free to contact me with any questions. I will have extra copies of all forms available at the Back to school fair on Saturday.

We hope you join us Monday, August 14th to drop off your school supplies, meet your teacher and see your classroom!
