IHS will celebrate Generation Texas Day beginning at 10:30 a.m. this morning in the Special Events Center. This is a celebration of our Senior students and their post-secondary plans.

Itasca ISD has been awarded stimulus funds through the American Rescue Plan. As we work to prepare a budget, we would like parent and community input. IHS will be hosting a Generation Texas celebration on Friday May 7th at 10:00 a.m. in the SEC to celebrate our Seniors and their Post-Secondary Plans. Senior Parents/Guardians and Grandparents are invited to celebrate our IHS Class of 2021.

Davonte Grisham will compete in the High Jump at the UIL State Track Meet @11:30am on Friday May 7th @ Mike A. Myers Stadium on the University of Texas campus.

Wampus Cat Baseball Bi-District Playoff Game vs Wortham.
Game 1 and 2 (Double Header) Friday May 7th @ Wampus Cat Park. First pitch @ 5pm.
Best of 3 Series.

This message is just a quick reminder that tonight, Itasca High School will be hosting a come-and-go Program Showcase to promote all of our student programs at IHS. This showcase will be in the Library from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. approximately. Hill College and Texas State Technical College will also be present to discuss how our programs lead to higher education and training opportunities. I look forward to seeing you all tonight. Students from 8th grade up are welcome along with their parents or guardians.

Itasca ISD has partnered with Virtual Care for Families to provide virtual medical care for our students here at Itasca ISD. As a benefit Virtual Care for Families would like to provide FREE physicals for our students participating in extracurricular activities that require a physical on Thursday May 20th, 2021.
For your student to qualify for the free physical your student must be enrolled in the Virtual Care for Families program through Itasca ISD.
Due to UIL COVID guidelines during the 2020-2021 school year all athletes participating in Athletics will be required to have a physical for the 2021-2022 school year. This is a great opportunity to be proactive and have our student-athletes prepared for the 2021-2022 school year.
