It will be Itasca Varsity girl vs. Rio Vista Varsity girls starting at 5:30pm in Rio Vista
Our game Friday against Jonesboro has been moved up to Thursday @ 4:30 in Jonesboro.

IHS is hosting Academic UIL Contests tomorrow. IHS Students not participating will be remote learners tomorrow, Thursday, March 25th. All other campuses will have regular in-person classes tomorrow. All IHS Students will return to campus on Friday March 26th for in-person instruction.
Due to inclement weather, all field events have been canceled for tonight’s JH track meet in Italy. Running starts at 4pm.

Free Athletic Physicals! Thursday May 20th, 2021
Itasca ISD has partnered with Virtual Care for Families to provide virtual medical care for our students here at Itasca ISD. As a benefit, Virtual Care for Families would like to provide FREE physicals for our students participating in extracurricular activities.
For your student to qualify for the free physical your student must be enrolled in the Virtual Care for Families program through Itasca ISD.
Due to UIL COVID guidelines during the 2020-2021 school year EVERY student participating in Athletics or Marching Band will be required by the UIL to have a physical for the 2021-2022 school year. This is a great opportunity to be proactive and have our student-athletes prepared for the 2021-2022 school year.

Although Ex. Order GA-34 goes into effort tomorrow 3/10/21, Itasca ISD shall maintain our current guidelines regarding COVID-19 which include the wearing of masks. Itasca Lady Wampus Cat Softball will no longer be in the Rio Vista Tournament this week. We WILLL still play at home Tuesday 3/9 against Hamilton @ 5:30 and in Hico on Friday 3/12 @ 4:30. If you have any questions please contact Coach O'Hearn
Itasca High School One Act Play will be performing "I Don't Want to Talk About It" by Bradley Hayward for family, friends and the Itasca community. Performance will be Monday, March 8 in the Special Events Center (SEC). The play will begin at 7:00 p.m., Admission is free. Content warning: play contains loud noises, mental health issues, and mature teenage content.

Our High School One Act Play performed "I Don't Want to Talk About It" by Bradley Hayward in District 12-2A competition at Hamilton on Tuesday. Our students did an amazing job and brought home 4 medals! We did not advance to Bi-District but the competition was tremendous. All-Star Cast - JT Morris

As many of you already know, Governor Abbott issued a new Executive Order today GA-34 which in part removes the statewide mandate on face coverings beginning next Wednesday March 10, 2021. As we await further guidance form the Texas Education Agency, Itasca ISD Board of Trustees, and Itasca ISD stakeholders, we remind you that our current mandate is still in effect, and we will keep you apprised of any changes/updates in the days to come. Our #1 goal is to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all, and we ask that you continue to work with us adhering to the guidelines we have in place. Please help us congratulate these two young men for qualifying for the Region 2 Division 3 Powerlifting Championship meet. Davonte Grisham (181lb class) and Juan Hernandez (198lb class) have earned a spot at the regional meet and will be lifting next Thursday (3/11) starting at 8:30am. Admission is $5.
The Itasca FFA Breeding Rabbit Show Team attended the Houston Livestock Show this past weekend. They exhibited 7 rabbits in a show of almost 2,000 rabbits.Their Cinnamon Buck won Best of Breed and their Cinnamon Doe won Best Opposite. This means they won their individual classes and won best and second best out of all the Cinnamon rabbits! This is a big deal in the rabbit world! A very successful weekend for our Breeding Rabbit Show Team!
