Itasca ISD has partnered with Virtual Care for Families to provide virtual medical care for our students here at Itasca ISD. As a benefit Virtual Care for Families would like to provide FREE physicals for our students participating in extracurricular activities that require a physical on Thursday May 20th, 2021.
For your student to qualify for the free physical your student must be enrolled in the Virtual Care for Families program through Itasca ISD.
Due to UIL COVID guidelines during the 2020-2021 school year all athletes participating in Athletics will be required to have a physical for the 2021-2022 school year. This is a great opportunity to be proactive and have our student-athletes prepared for the 2021-2022 school year.

Reminder: Itasca High School will be hosting a Programs Showcase for all current Freshmen and Sophomores to explore programs at IHS. Hill College, TSTC and the US Army will also be present to answer career and college questions for students and Parents. Please make plans to attend to assist your student with their class choices for next year.

Reminder Letter Jacket fitting is Monday April 26th in the Library. Students must have their forms filled out and payment if they are ordering extras. If a student has lost thier form they will need to see Coach Kerbow Monday morning before 1st period.

Due to the rain coming Friday, Baseball will play a double header today in Itasca starting at 5:30 vs. Rio Vista. We will be the home team for the first game and the visitor for the second game.

2021 Itasca Yearbooks have arrived and will be passed out on Monday, May 3. The cost is $35.00 for each book purchased. 5 FFA members went with Ms. Chapman to Cleburne to compete in their District Prepared Speaking Competition. Joe Weaver got 4th place in Junior Prepared Public Speaking. Abby Weaver got 3rd in Senior Prepared Ag Policy. Abby Salinas got 3rd in Senior Prepared Natural Resources. Naomi Chavez got 2nd place in Senior Prepared Animal Science. Evelyn Virrueta got 2nd in Senior Prepared Technology and Communications. Both Naomi and Evelyn will Advance to the Area Competition in May!

Parking is available on Itasca ISD grounds today. Most security gates will be open in order for patrons to pass through school grounds easier toward the north west side of campus.


Balloon release for Victor Garcia will be tonight at 5pm at Patton Field. Balloons will be provided by Itasca ISD from the concession stand, and the family will lead the event.
