COVID-19 UPDATES FOR SEMESTER #2 , 1/4/21

Dear Itasca,

As we get ready to return to school tomorrow January 5th, we would like to inform you of one particular revision we have made to the quarantine timeline. Based on the December 2, 2020 revised guidelines/allowances from the CDC and TEA, we will now allow students to return from a close contact quarantine after 10 days instead of 14.

Overall:

1) If you have tested positive for COVID-19, you must still quarantine for 10 days from symptom onset or the day of the test result if you experienced no symptoms.

2) If you have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, you must quarantine for 10 days from the last close contact and monitor your symptoms throughout 14 days.

Please note that quarantine days are first counted the day after close contact, and 10 consecutive days must be completed upon return.

If you experience symptoms at anytime during a close contact quarantine, pleas contact your physician about getting tested.

GO CATS GO!!!
